On the 22nd of October, Leonard Elsenbroich premiered the second cello concerto of Willem Jeths' "Nell' Oltretomba" under the direction of Giuseppe Mengoli together with Netherlands Chamber Orchestra (Het Nederlands Kamerorkest).

In the new review on Trouw, Peter van der Lint reviewed the premiere of Willem Jeths' Cello Concerto.


All beautiful and impressive. But the world premiere of Willem Jeths' Second Cello Concerto made the biggest impression on Friday. With the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra (NKO) conducted by Giuseppe Mengoli, Leonard Elsenbroich played this painfully beautiful composition with great empathy.
