Lèthè refers to the river of forgetfulness in Greek mythology, one of the rivers of the Underworld. Also known as the Amelés potamos (“river of unmindfulness”), it flows through Hades, and those who drink from it forget their earthly lives entirely.
The name is also associated with Lèthè, the personification of forgetfulness and oblivion, daughter of Eris.
