Following previous success, Lorenzo Viotti and Gautier Capuçon join forces once again . And the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra performs a world premiere by Willem Jeths.

Elgar's final work, his Cello Concerto , breathes dark, autumnal melancholy. Lorenzo Viotti and cellist Gautier Capuçon—widely praised for his poetic lyricism—know exactly how to handle it. Regarding a previous joint performance, De Nieuwe Muze wrote that 'Elgar blossomed in his full glory from his sad but noble swan song'.
