About the event

The Haarlem Mini-Concerts Foundation offers a stage to young musical talent in collaboration with the Princess Christina Competition in The Hague. During culturally low periods, concerts in the classical genre are offered in the center of Haarlem. The visitors' contributions are voluntary and there will be room to donate at the end of the concert.

The foundation strives to organize high-quality concerts that are accessible to everyone. The special location (Zang & Vriendschap, Jansstraat 74) and a concert time of one hour ensure that the talented young classical musicians can present themselves in the right way and that the concerts are attractive and accessible to a wide audience.

The first Mini-Concert is on Sunday, June 23. Then the stage is for the Silhouette Quartet. The program they play:

  • Thomas Beijer: Ruysdael's Windmill
  • Dvorak: from quartet no.12 'American', part 2 (Lento)
  • Grieg: from quartet no.2: part 1 (Sostenuto-Allegro vivace e grazioso)
  • Willem Jeths: Paessagio Dramatico
  • Mozart Divertimento in F, K.138 (I Allegro, II Adagio, III Presto0
